Hello, I’m Jacob Escobedo
I’m a UX designer based in Columbus, Ohio. I thrive in fast-paced, collaborative environments—where big-picture thinking meets small interaction details, and where inclusive, human-centered design isn't just a goal but a mindset.
I bring a calm, focused energy to complex challenges, helping cross-functional teams stay grounded while navigating ambiguity. Whether I'm co-creating with engineers, running workshops with stakeholders, or digging into user research, I work to turn messy, unclear problems into intuitive and impactful solutions.
My approach blends empathy, systems thinking, and a bit of design philosophy: I don’t just solve the problem on the screen—I think about how it fits into the broader journey, supports business outcomes, and most importantly, serves people in their real lives.
I believe the best designers never stop learning—whether it’s exploring a new tool, studying a new system, or just soaking in unexpected inspiration. Outside of work, I’m probably diving into a new design idea, cranking up Highly Suspect, or yelling at the TV during a Manchester United match (with love, of course). That constant curiosity—paired with a little chaos and rhythm—keeps me grounded and growing.
“Life is your teacher, and you are in a state of constant learning.” – Bruce Lee
